As I Walk This Land is my first published novel. I always felt I had a story to tell. It is not a unique story but one that transcends all cultural backgrounds and divisions. Although fictional, it is written with some of my own lifes' experiences. There are times we feel that life is too much of an effort with no result. It is my  hope that the reader will relate to my story and not feel so alone, or, help others to understand those less fortunate. If I can accomplish this then my story will have been worth it. You have heard the quotation "Failure sometimes enlarges the spirit. You have to fall back upon humanity and God." by Charles Horton Cooley. In my sequel you will see this family finally endure the struggles of poverty, focus on life, appreciate the love and unity and find the wisdom of life.
