Rosie has received awards for short stories and poetry, as well as being short-listed with scripts for screen and stage.

She receives enthusiastic responses from students in creative writing and life writing courses developed and tutored over the years.

Her writing reflects her strong interest in the community and the environment.      

Rosie has received awards for short stories and poetry, several of which have been published, including –
‘The Exotic Other’ in Page Seventeen Issue 3;
'Reverie' in Coastlines 3, an anthology of writing from Southern Cross University; and
'Boys in the Bush' in A Hundred Years in the Bush, Outback Writers Centre, Dubbo, NSW.

She has a Bachelor of Arts (Writing major) and is a member of the Australian Society of Authors, Fellowship of Australian Writers, and Writers Victoria.

'The Scent of Belonging' is her first novel, and reflects her strong interest in the community and the environment.
