When I write, I tend to mix "the real with the fantastic" - of course, that means I hang out in different realities a lot of the time. So, if you need to talk to me, and I'm not hearing you, please feel free to pat me on the shoulder to get my attention! :)

Background Information

I love words and stories and for so long I've had these ideas in my head I just wanted to get on paper. It was finally gaining the confidence in myself to put the words down and not be self conscious about what other people thought. Once I did that, I realized that the easy part was now done - editing came next, but that's when the story really develops. It's such a fantastic process.

I've written a lot of short stories that have appeared in anthologies and magazines and have five novels waiting for representation. I constantly tweek them and work on them to get them as polished as possible. I just enjoy the idea of taking myself away for a little bit and plunging into these other worlds and characters and the ability to get lost in them intrigues me so much.

Additional Information

I have a new short story called THE SUN AND THE STAR appearing in a TIMELESS anthology by Cool Well Press on Valentine's day. I'll also be doing my first author signing on February 29th at my local library.
