Michael Elliott founded ChristianCritic.com in 1998 and for the next ten years provided spiritual commentary on the films that reached and influenced the public consciousness. While ChristianCritic.com has been discontinued, Elliott's interest in how the cinematic arts can reflect God's eternal truths has not.

Thus Saith Hollywood was written to show how films can be viewed with a discerning eye to stimulate thought and discussion and focus our minds on what is truly important.
