I grew up in the country and was raised in a Christian home. The lessons I learned through this life and through my family firmly established my character. Since I was born again (in my late twenties), God has been the major force guiding my life. Every decision is first taken before His throne for His approval. I have tried to live a life that honors Him, and I want to pass on to my descendents the lessons He has taught me and the wisdom He has given me. I want them to see how God can take a simple, ordinary woman and raise her to be more than she ever thought possible.

Established the Christian Women's Center, Inc. -- an emergency home for women in crisis. Helped to build crisis centers in other states and countries. Received Woman of the Year and Woman of Achievement awards through the Professional Business Women of Griffin, Georgia. Awarded the Hunt Cup Award for service to others (by the Griffin.
