Born in South Africa, Suzanne grew up thinking she'd be a quantum physicist only to wake up one morning and pursue a career in music instead. A Bachelor's degree later, she moved to Australia where she taught kids and adults to play piano before packing boots and mittens and heading to the far north for a Master's degree in Music, Mind and Technology. She now lives in Finland with her other half and a shibu inu called Lego, and has turned to a career in writing although she still plays her instruments when not typiing furiously at the keyboard.
She is the author of the cyberpunk novel Dragon's Teeth as well as numerous short stories published in varous places including Roar and Thunder, and Golden Visions Magazine.
A voracious reader, Suzanne loves fantasy and literary fiction although her writing tends to fall more into the myriad subgenres of science fiction. Favourite authors include Poppy Z Brite, Neil Gaiman, Juliet Marillier and David Mitchell.
