I love telling stories, particularly when they're based on some semblance of truth; all of mine are.

Background Information

'Once upon a time.'

Those words, most often spoken to me by my big sister, always filled me with anticipation as a child. They continue to inspire me today, with their promise of simple, un-pretentious story telling.

I don’t have any burning ambition to be a best selling author, just a good teller of tales will do.

“Write what you know,” said Allen Bennett. It’s advice I totally believe in; and all my stories come from a position of truth. The much-maligned ‘twist’ is in all of them, because after all, life’s rarely straight and narrow.

Accomplishments

Throughout my career as a creative Director I've won numerous awards for my art direction. However I'm most proud of, reaching number 1 on Wattpad (youtube, for e-books) and winning first place in two flash fiction competitions mean more to me. Only modest achievements by most writers standards, but they mean a lot to me.
