After having read every book in the house, and when the library was closed, I wrote stories to entertain myself so that I would have something to read later. I only ever write what I would enjoy reading. Writing for a certain market has never worked for me.

I used to make up plays in my head than used my dolls to act them out but never really wrote anything down until I was in my teens. I write in various genres and in various styles. I've written non-fiction articles, poetry, short stories, novels, novellas as well as book reviews.

I love a good story and read anything from SF to Horror, from romance to poetry, from JK Rowling to Stephen King.

Favourite authors at the moment include Sheri S. Tepper, Barbara Wood, James Patterson, Sarah Rayne, Peter James, Marion Zimmer Bradley and Freda Warrington. I also like Anya Seton, Elizabeth Chadwick and Valerie Anand for their historicals. And yes, I have read and loved all the Harry Potter books ;) I am bit of a Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter fanatic at the moment!

I grew up in a small town in Northern Ireland, moving to London when I was seventeen. I still live in England with my husband, a selection of porcelain dolls and enough books to fill a small library!

When not writing, I enjoy travelling (except on boats!), theatre, cinema, walks along deserted beaches and anything historical such as castles, stately homes and abbeys.
