Background Information

I served in The White House for 6 years - last post: Senior Director of the National Security Council, so I weave many of those experiences into the political thrillers I'm writing today. 3 are out from Macmillan/Forge. The 4th, CASTLE BRAVO is out June 1, 2012 in hardback, trade paperback, e-book and audio. I was also on the air for 15 years as a TV news reporter and anchor in S.F. and D.C.

Each of my novels deals with a different threat to our national security - the way I see them anyway, so of course, I'm trying to call attention to these issues. It was George Bernard Shaw who said, "The best way to get your point across is to entertain," and that's just what I'm trying to do.

Accomplishments

My books have hit "#1 in Thrillers" on Amazon and the new novel, CASTLE BRAVO just won an award at the Paris Book Festival.
