I'm an author of four children's books, and much of my time is spent promoting literacy to children. My favorite quote "There are many little ways to enlarge a child's world. Love of books is the best of all." ~ Jacqueline Kennedy

Background Information

My grandson Justin was my inspiration.... making my dream become a reality! Not only was he persistant and a contributor, but was also determined to see my first story within a books pages. My other grandchild Angie Bella warmed my heart by her exuberant reaction. "Bobo the Race Car" series are inspirational stories of determination, true value of friendship and knowing anything is possible when you believe in it. BoBo the Race Car Triology "BoBo's New Challenge...Spike" is my current release.

"Bess the Book Bus" is dear to my heart. A story about a real bus that travels state to state delivering free books to underprivileged children. I'm a supporter of a non-profit organization Bess the Book Bus, Inc. When you read about "Bess" she will tell you all about her long and wonderful journey. A portion of the proceeds of the "Bess" book sales benefits this worthy cause.

Accomplishments

I am humbled and honored to say the Pocono Raceway located in Long Pond, PA endorses my BoBo books. Bess the Book Bus, Inc. also honored me by endorsing my Bess story long with the Ford Motor Company authorizing me to use a picture of their Ford Transit Connect and logo within the book's pages. Last April I received a Certificate of Appreciation for participating in the Swiftwater Elementary School's 10th Annual Family Reading Night.

Additional Information

I will be participating in the Pocono racing events this coming June and August. Also on July 21st. I will be displaying my children's books at the Eastern Monroe Public Library during their book Expo. My children's books are available for purchase online via Barnes & Noble, Amazon.com, BooksAMillion.com, Magicblox.com and the Skytop Gift shop in Skytop, PA. It has been proven that early reading habits directly relates to scholastic achievement.
