I like to write about things that I find relate to people's every day experiences. My chilren's book is about the first time I went caving- a thrilling and terrifying experience! My YA novel is based on my father's life growing up poor in rural Minnesota. I myself moved from a big city to small town Minnesota when I was fifteen, so my character's feelings mirror my own when I first arrived there. NOw, of course, I love small town country living with all my heart!

I am continuning with sequels to both books, and getting great feedback along the way. I want to become an active author in my community- visit schools, and work with teens. I have spent many years coaching teens in volleyball and teaching children in Sunday school, and I just want to remain a relevant, important part of their world.
