As a ordained Elder of the historic African Methodist Episcopal Church and a seasoned Minister, I have discovered the most rewarding part of my ministry has been my involvement with hospice patients and their families as a hospice Chaplain. To have had the challenge of inspiring the dying and to encourage the families is very rewarding to say the least. This experience has been a valuable instrument in my personal development as a servent of God! It is very comforting to watch as the transformation of an entire family turns from unbelief to a state of hope and trust in God. My prayer is that all of those who are involved in a Gospel ministry that may lead to the bedside of the dying take seriously our mission.
