Antoinette Kopperfield is a poet, author and lyricist. She is the mother of five grown children. She was married to her soul-mate for almost 18 years until he passed away in the past year. He was her twin soul and twin flame and his spirit will stay with her forever.
Jivantoro Mentis (Antoinette's late husband) and herself completed a fictional children's book together to discourage children from joining gangs. The book has her late husband's surname which was Jose Ruiz. It was his first project as a book illustrator and Antoinette's first children's book.
She is currently turning that children's book into an ebook and her future plans also include an echapbook of poetry.
Antoinette's inspiration for her poetry comes from everyday life and everyday people. She states that she loves to people watch. Many of her emotions are triggered by everyday events and the people surrounding them. Antoinette loves to smell the roses so to speak and laughter has become her best medicine.
Meditation is crucial to her existence because it helps her to keep in touch with her soul and who she really is inside. Her poetry expresses her innermost soulfelt emotions. She looks at the world differently now that her soul-mate has gone to the other side. . Antoinette tries to make each moment count and realizes now that her mission is not complete, and that she must move forward with her own life.
Her future goals include getting her M.F.A. from Arizona State University so that she may improve her writing and eventually teach others.
