I have always had a creative streak; whether it was as a child making things from cardboard boxes, or painting and drawing for pleasure. I was an avid bookworm from as far back as I can remember and have enjoyed many of the "Classics," as a child to the contemporary now. I have always written for pleasure. Even at school, my mind would be caught up in a whirlwind of fantasy and dreams. I have written a lot of poetry too. The majority of my late teens were spent trying to figure out many soul searching questions and many of these would manifest themselves into poems: some painful, some sad, some ironic... My influences in poetry have come from Tennyson to Keats to Roger McGough's works (the latter being my fav). I get inspired by so many things around but just one moment in time can be captured in so many words.... I have two wonderful children who have kept me going through some of my most painful adult years, and a group of wonderful friends who have kept me from tipping over the edge...to all of you "Thank You."

A big "Thank You" to my partner Steve who has been a tower of strength and given me a new set of wings!!!....

Accomplishments: Usual school training and then qualified in College attaining an accredited BTec National Diploma in Graphic Design specialising in Point of Sale Design. Recently finished a grueling CIW Web design course.
