I grew up in the Chicagoland area (Northwest Suburbs) and learned all about snow. Got tired of said snow and moved "out in the county" in Kentucky with my 2 cats and Robin. We have now moved back up to Louisville Kentucky. I love my cats dearly, no matter how much I threaten to make stew out of them, and write stories about them. I also write stories about real life experiences and sci-fi/fantasy. I love to write poetry and edit Robins stories for her just like she edits mine. I'm pursuing my Bachelors in Criminal Justice because I want to teach it someday.

I am an avid reader of Anne McCaffrey, Robert Asprin, Jean M Auel, Shakespeare, Edgar Allen Poe, Emily Dickinson, and anything else that catches my fancy. I love to put puzzles together, and since I'm still a child at heart: Legos.

I listen to anything that catches my fancy. classical, bluegrass (love the instrumentals best), country, rock, pop, hip-hop, rap, classic rock, jazz, anything with a good beat. I even listen to German Industrial. I'm an equal opportunity listener.

Robin Adams (author on AD) and I have started a war of words. Any poems with War of the Roses in the title are part of that.

On 5/21/04 Monster Cat, Tiger, passed away. She took ill suddenly and died in her favorite spot. She was a little over a year old and will be missed greatly.
