WHERE DOES IT ALL END? I was proud to learn that I was a "critically acclaimed" writer. But now I find out that I have reached "super-star status," (say that ten times really fast and then go see "Publishing vs Publishing" on my articles page). I had no idea! Regarding the critical acclaim; I've been able to attain critical mass before, but with a little exercise and the right diet, that condition tends to subside. In my final days on earth, if all I had to do was live and write in the Pacific Northwest, I would die a happy and satisfied man, as long as those days were spent in the company of my son, Kristopher-Kent. I agree with Winston Churchill when he said, "Writing a book is an adventure. To begin with it is a toy and amusement, then it becomes a master, and than it becomes a tyrant. And the last phase is, just as you are about to be reconciled to your servitude, you kill the monster and fling him to the public." My stories come from my mind and from my heart. I formulate them from the places I have been, the unique experiences I have had, and the people I have met along the way. Except for the time I spent in the service of my country, I have chosen to live and raise my son in and around Seattle, Washington. I’ll let you in on a little secret. The many years that I spent traveling, both in the military and with a major US flag carrier (airline), gave me an opportunity to see the world, many times over.
