GO CUBS GO...To my dear boys and girls
on my little T-ball team!
I recieved my first creative writing award when I was in fourth grade with a twinkle in my teacher's eye of great prospects for my future. Through the years I have been activily published in the opinion colums of newspapers across the west. I have recieved little certificates and ribbons for everything from classroon MOM, Best Community Recipes, to commendable writing projects, even some poetry. I have attended many college courses a strange variety of areas: early childhood developement, chidren's literature, secretarial skills, legal courses, criminal justice, parole and probation, emergency medical technician, psychology 101, and others. I have yet to obtain a degree, but am seeking one in the legal feild in the future. I have am known for seaking out goals and accomplishing them at all costs.
I am currently attending Ashworth College to earn my AA in Paralegal. I then plan on attending University of Phoenix for my Bachelor's in Criminal Justice or Social Work as a pre-requisite to law school. I plan on enrolling in William S. Boyd School of Law with in two years. I strive to get my law degree, not for greed or money, but only to fight many unjustices from the inside. I am making a life goal to assist those less fortunate. Those who are innocent but helplessly try to win against a legal system that has unlimited resources. Umong my volunteer ventures I have been a coach and assitant coach for Fallon Youth Baseball, 'Class Mom' at Northside Elementary (1996), and enjoy entering many community contests. My current entry, which I am waiting the results is a beautiful photo for our local telepone book cover of a boy (my son) fishing at sunset.
I have been known for my advocacy work for parental/family rights. Spent many years defending normal and natural parents against a politically correct system out to intrude on the very private and precious gift....our family unit and our loved children.
Recently we have seen much press about our current failures of our Child Protective Services. How normal families lose children, endangered children slip through the cracks and perish of abuse, and how even our foster care system in some cases are responsible for the most horrendous abuse and murder of our nations children. Thus my desire to finish law school and attempt to restore American family freedoms.
