Abbey, my beloved cocker spaniel who died from sudden onset of hemolytic anemia, was the inspiration for the picture story books. All of the illustration in the books are created by me using actual pictures of the kids and their own surroundings I never tire of writing, painting or doing illustration of animals but
"The Special Kids of Sharon"
are my favorite bunch. They are real puppy dogs who are next door neighbors.
