Instead of becoming a writer, I became a printer and toiled in that profession for 31 years.  In the back of my mind, I still wanted to write. At age 47, I retired and relocated to the Florida Keys. For the following 20 plus years, I traveled the world, fished, and resurrected my writing career. I have written seven novels: three adventure stories, three mysteries and one fantasy story. I am presently living in the upstate of South Carolina, the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

I am the former treasurer of the Treasure Coast Writers Guild of Florida and a member of the library in Fort Pierce, Florida and the library in Stuart, Florida. I am also a member of the Florida Writers Association, the Spartanburg library in South Carolina, HUB-BUB, and the Knights of Columbus.

Early Autumn is about a social outcast who discovers murder is a convenient solution and sweet revenge whenever anyone opposes her. Is The Tiger Going Blind is a saga about a modern-day bounty hunter and how he became a legend. The sequel, Shadow of Darkness is about the bounty hunter presuiring a U.S. Congressman who jumped bail after he killed a twelve year old girl in a hit and run. The Magic Oak is a baseball fantasy story for young adults about a fifteenth year old boy who possesses a magic baseball bat that hits only home runs. This novel has been endorsed by the Stuttering Foundation and nominated for the John Newbery Medal. Love Kills is a romantic novel about the mysterious deaths of four women who fell in love with the same man. Incident at Patagonia Pass is a story about five Americans taken hostage in a South American Andes Mountain Pass. PinBall, a story about a bullheaded police detective trying to pin the murder of a young woman on an advertising executive, who is being framed. The story is set in South Florida
