For more than 30 years, I’ve been writing and selling magazine articles on numerous topics to a huge number of publications. My articles have appeared in such magazines as American Way, Rotarian, Elks Magazine, Guidepost, Toastmasters, Modern Maturity, Mechanix Illustrated, Family Motor Coaching, Highways, Catholic Digest, Decision, Signs of the Times, Better Homes and Gardens, Women's World, Automobile, and many others. I am also the author of a best-selling day-to-day calendar, Legal Lunacies, published by Andrew McMeel.
I have authored four books:
"Awe-Full Moments: Spirituality in the Commonplace"
"It Made a Difference to that One"
"Holy Humor: If This is Church, Why are we Laughing?"
"Pranks in Print: A Collection of Fake Stories, Phony Ads and Other Media Mischief"
All of my books are in ebook format for Kindle and Nook, and in paperback format through Createspace. See my website for more information.
I have contributed stories to several other books including, Chicken Soup for the Christian Family Soul, God Allows U-Turns, Where We Live, The Writer’s Research Handbook, Whispers from Heaven and Prepare Our Hearts.
I worked as a writer/photographer for Challenge-Cook Bros., Inc., where I produced advertising materials, training materials, trade show presentations and did ghost writing of articles and sales letters for product managers and even the company president. After leaving C-CB, I wrote newsletters and advertising materials for the company on a freelance basis.
For other employers, I’ve created advertising materials, technical manuals and training courses. I have also created and taught a writing course, Writing for Publication and Profit, which is presented in an adult education setting.
