It turns out
I'm a terrible archivist
(it has been my profession)

My poems have scattered to the wind
I don't know where they are
I wonder
What can they do on their own?

(I'll spend all my money
My last dimes
On music
Then maybe…
I can join them)

But I'm learning,
Because I know what's important
And what to give away

My favorite authors include Rabindranath Tagore, William Carlos Williams, Wallace Stevens, Rumi, Pablo Neruda, Lorrie Moore, Leonard Cohen, Gary Snyder, and Donald Barthelme.

Accomplishments

I have a BA in English/Creative Writing from the University of Southern California, and a Master of Science in Information from the University of Michigan. I work in marketing in Michigan.
