I have been writing poetry since childhood, and always dreamed of becoming a writer. Early aspirations gave way in the face of the necessity of earning a dependable living, but the desire to write has always been with me, and thus I have pursued my dream in the "background" of everyday life.
My younger years were largely spent getting close to my first love - namely, nature. I also have a passion for music, and for the beauty of the sung and spoken word. I have added to these powerful influences the study of psychology, and the rearing of a child with special needs. I have recently begun playing the harp as well.
