“Never stop learning, not even for a day – and enjoy every moment of the quest for knowledge.” This has been the mantra of Chicago-area writer and speaker, R.W. Perry, for as long as he can remember.
“As a child, I had an insatiable quest for knowledge, posing the questions ‘what if?’ and ‘why?’ whenever I didn’t see life’s logic. And from that point on, Mr. Perry has devoted himself to just that. His “never stop learning” approach to life is reflected both in his writings and his seminars and presentations; and it’s a philosophy that’s helped people of all ages create more vibrant lives. “Whether I’m creating a new character, story-line, or presentation, my underlying goal is to enlighten through entertainment and make the process fun for both myself and my audience,” he notes.
This insight is the basis of Mr. Perry’s writings that are directed at America’s youth including his Kelly McCabe detective series which follows the adventures of a heroic 11 year-old female protagonist and his award-winning comedy screenplay, Yoder High, which features Amish youth. In both story-lines, the exciting adventures and quests for truth kick off when the young heroes ask ‘what if?’ and ‘why?’ - just like their creator, R.W. Perry, still does each and every day.
