I spent ten years in the local music scene here in Minneapolis Mn. When a band called Impact came along I thought that would lead me to the success that I wanted as a person of the arts. However, after four years in the band and not accomplishing what I hoped it would I turned to being an author. My first book was the story of the first song I wrote. It got published but didn't sell well. That didn't matter to me, just the fact that I got published meant the world. I have since continued to write with marginal success. However, I believe that my current project will be my breakout book and give me the bestseller that I crave. I deem success in monetary terms and people knowing who you are (like Britney Spears or Clay Aiken). I've been blessed because I come from an artsy and, yet, intellectual background. My mother was an artist until she met my father. My father is a political conservative who has a wide knowledge of facts and history. Whether good or bad these factors have made me the writer that I am.

I am completing the final rewrite on my next book called 'Minnesota Secedes.' Look for it in December 2004 or January 2005. I also plan on rewriting some of my short stories which I will place on my website here at Authorsden.com.
