Reader response to Norman Chastain's debut mystery, After the Game, has been enthusiastic and encouraging. He has appeared at numerous Barnes & Noble stores, book clubs and private signings, including stops in Tampa, Macon, St. Simons Island and throughout metro-Atlanta. Chastain returned to the 6th annual Murder Goes South as a featured author on January 25 and 26, 2008.
Born in Jesup, Georgia, the writer grew up in Tampa, Florida and now resides outside Atlanta. Chastain earned degrees in Industrial Management from Georgia Tech and Civil Engineering at University of South Florida. He attributes much of his growth as a novelist to the network of writing friends and editors he met at UGA writers conferences.
Chastain is crafting his next mystery, Bottleneck, in Marietta, Georgia, where his wonderful wife and two darling children tolerate him … most days.
