I was born and raised in Los Angeles County, California. The place is in my blood and influences me greatly - in a good way. Quite by accident I discovered the marvelous town and beach, Seal Beach. It is south of Long Beach and north of Huntington Beach in southern California, USA. It very easily became the inspitation for the home of Kathryn as I wrote her story.
