Born the oldest of three in an Air Force family with a pilot for a father, it is only natural that David Cristwell writes of pilots and their adventures. David grew up fishing and hunting at various places across the USA with his father being transferred. Now a 55 y/o grandfather, David and his wife teach Sunday School in their church in rural East Texas.
The major influences on David's writing came from a dear friend who was killed in a plane crash in 1991. He was an Alaska Master Guide, and owned a fishing lodge where I went twice.
Other factors come from a real relationship with the Lord, and his drive to help others find it.
