Writing has been my love since a child. I always loved to read and draw since very young. I started off with my own kiddie cartoons that were like comic books. When I turned a teenage my parents bought me my first typewriter for my birthday and that was a whole new world that opened for me.
I have been writing for years. After my father passed away in 2004 from Alzheimers, I started to poor myself more into my work and was determined to become published. There were about 20 unfinished manuscripts around the house and I decided that life was too short and it was time to finish one. My friend Kenn and I always wrote these crazy bunny stories to each other back and forth through email. They were silly ditties and one day I decided to write a Children's Story about a disabled bunny rabbit. It was a mixture of another children's story that had been started about 5 years earlier and unfinished. Writing the story was joyful. It has been doing well and I am so proud of it. Plus, I have adult fans of the book as well as children.
A few friends had mentioned the publisher that I now use, and I am grateful to them for the information. Being an Author has been such a fun experience. Knowing that I may never be a best seller is not all that important. The fun part is meeting all of the other authors and having fun doing what I love to do. Write. It's great to have a dream come true.
