While in the third grade, I dramatically declared "I'm going to make my living by the pen!" And I have. Currently a free-lance journalist, my experience includes numerous recently published articles, a decade at The Seattle Times, ad agency copywriter and art director, marketing manager, technical writer, fiction author, quarterly and monthly magazines editor, textbook publishing editor, promotional author and manager, My current work is limited as I am totally disabled due to fibromyalgia and thoracic outlet syndrome. Writing has always been, is, and continues to be my passion.

Graduated in Literature with High Honors from the University of California.
Earned Certificate in Creative Writing from the University of Washington.
Recieved numerous awards for advertising campaigns and newspaper promotion materials.
Accepted into prestigious Vermont College Writer's MFA program for fiction. Unable to attend due to disability.
