As a writer you have to be interested in the world. You have to be opened minded about the world and culture. When I want to help people and don't have money or cannot physically do anything to help, I know I can at least write. I can write letters to my congress persons to take action on issues dealing with humanity or the environment. I can write to educate those who are in the dark about matters important to themselves or others. When I experience tribulations and overcome, people may not be able to see it, and I may not be able to verbally communicate to them about it, but I can write about it. And my message can touch many lives and invoke thought or change to people across the country and around the world. That's why I write.
I can write about my story of a seven year abusive relationship and how I got out of it. I can write about how America's objectification of women effects the way our girls think and feel about themselves. This is why I write. And I hope that you will enjoy your own copy of How to Get Over Him and Learn from Your Mistakes: A Survival Guide. And that it will help inspire you to find your gift and follow your dreams.
