Mary is a preacher's wife, mother of 2, grandmother of 4. Loves God, Family and Country. She hopes this love shows through in her writing of life experiences and through her poetry.The faith she has in God is what she would like to share with the reader.
As Mamaw she loves writing for children and her stories are always written with the highest of moral and ethical values in consideration.

She will be attending Appalachian Author's Guild, Barter on the Green in Abingdon Va. on July 31 st. 2006.
Recently spoke to an all-class reunion about book "In This Valley I Grew" and read a poem from her soon to be published poetry book.
Recently attended the Ohio River Festival of Books in Huntington WV for all Ky., Ohio, and WV authors to sell and promote book:
