Naiomi Pitre is a skilled dilettante in the field of writing literature. Her work rings with a sincerity and realism that succeeds in capturing and enticing her audience.

Background Information

Naiomi Pitre prides herself in taking real life situations and honest emotions and weaving them into a wild story for all of her readers to enjoy. In her sizzling debut novel, BROKEN VOWS, Pitre explores the temptations thrust upon a married couple. Sexual exploration, infidelity, jealousy, and deception threaten to destroy a bond built by love in this wild ride driven by the flames of passion.

Birth Place
Torrojome,  Spain

After many years of contemplating a writing career and worrying about facing rejection, Naiomi decided to take a step out in faith. Nothing worth taking a risk comes easy. Once she took steps to self-publish her first novel, she was overwhelmed with the support and encouragement showered upon her by her newfound fan base. Just six months after BROKEN VOWS was released to the public, Mrs. Pitre was featured at the Barnes and Noble 2006 Summer Book Fest in Lafayette, Louisiana, where she signed books for many of her readers. A few hot examples of her work can be found showcased on the website hosted by The Writer's Edge Publishing House, .

Additional Information

"I believe in presenting taboo subjects like homosexuality, lesbianism, and sexual exploration to the African-American community, where we have shunned these subjects for far too long. We are sexual beings, with sexual urges, and sexual needs that need to be addressed, and I plan to address them in as entertaining a way as possible. I dont apologize for my candidness, and I am proud of the raw reality of the situations my characters face. Hopefully, my readers will recognize a small piece of themselves in each of my stories." ---Naiomi Pitre
