I have a diverse background in health education, web and graphics design, and competition costuming.

The arts have been actively pursued by my family in many forms, including acting (I grew up in a show business family), singing, dancing, prop and costume making, makeup, set design, painting, drawing, sculpting, jewelry making, photography, and, of course, writing. 

Winner of the 2004 KeepitComing.net's holiday fiction contest; winner of 2002 Web Writer News award. Judge on several writing contest panels, including EPIC's 2007 Young Writer.

My first novel, VISIONS, released January 2007. Three anthologies also released in 2007: TWIST OF FATE, TWISTED FAYRIE TALES, and PARANORMAL BEDTIME STORIES. My second novel, A GRAND SEDUCTION, was released in April 2008. I've also contributed to the Bylines 2008 desk calendar, Chicken Soup for the Recovering Soul: Daily Inspirations, and Misadventures of Moms. I have served as an editor and an acquisitions director, and also write erotic romance under the pseudonym J. Rose Allister.
