Laughter is always the best medicine.

Background Information

I sat down and started writing words about a certain subject. Gave the words some thought. And then created rhyming phrases. It came so easily. I wrote a paragraph here and there that rhymed about my kids, my mom and my friend. Then I decided to write something about Christmas. And that is how it all started.

Then I started making my own Christmas cards that went with the poems. My friends and family loved them, so I decided to keep making them.

I just take life experiences and turn them into poetry.

I've won first place for my "Fishing'" poem at Scrapoetry.com. And runner's up for my "Mom's Not Ready" poem.
