Background Information

I wrote a syndicated humor column in Canadian and American newspapers from 1994 to 2007. I am now working on full-length novels and movie projects. My major writing influences are the late Lewis Grizzard and the late Erma Bombeck (I am a faculty memeber of the Erma Bombeck Writers' Workshop at the University of Dayton.)

Accomplishments

The 2000 Stephen Leacock Award of Merit for Humour for my first book, Justice Is Blind - And Her DOg Just Peed In My Cornflakes.
The 2005 Stephen Leacock Award of Merit for Humour for my second book, Never Stand Behind A Loaded Horse
The 2006 Stephen Leacock Award of Merit For Humour for my third book, When My Mind Wanders It Brings Back Souvenirs.
