Capturing the mind of someone and holding their attention for a period of time, is a gift. My hope is that through reading what I write, I can encourage others to love the art of poetry and stories.
I am the Mother of five children, three step children, and twelve grandchildren, they are what bring my world the greatest joy. I have experienced the tragedy of divorce after thirty-three years of marriage, yet it has opened my eyes to the beauty of my soul and allowed me to be all I can be.
I work as a Trainer and Insurance Specialist at a Cardiovascular hospital in my hometown.                                  

I have been published in multiple books around the world, nominated 2000 Poet of the year by Poetry.com, chosen out of 250 poets worldwide to write about our ancestors for the book Hidden Roots, a book published in Llangolen Wales by Ann Johnson-Peterson, that poem's name is "Hidden Roots", Worldwide published in The Kentucky Rich book by Fern Michaels the Poem, "A Mothers Love", The book Voices USA "Speech and Drama", The book Secret Hiding Place "Three Angels" in the Library of Congress, The book America at The Millennium "Santa's Wishes" also in the Library of Congress, and many more. I have written an anthology of poems for children not yet published called "Momma Teresa's Nurturing Rhymes 21st Century Momma Goose" in the process of illustration.
