Born and raised in Berkeley, California; graduate of UC Berkeley in International Relations. Capt. USAF Special Operations in Laos, Cambodia and the Vietnams. Created the Cannery Row Foundation (1983) and published "CANNERY ROW, The History of John Steinbeck's Old Ocean View Avenue" (1986; now in Third Edition, 2009).
Author of "The Nadjik Pheromone" (Novel, 2008), techno-thriller on the future of biochemical lie detection.

The American Chemical Society conference at Moscone Center, San Francisco, March 2010, premiered "Nadjik" lie detection technology to the scientists in its field. Followed by a presentation to the CAC, California Association of Criminalists, at their Fall conference in Oakland, October 2010. Invited to present the Nadjik Pheromone hypothesis again to the ACS Anaheim conference in March 2011. Traction in the CSI sciences.
