Why do i write,i write because iam angered by the injustices around me,I write to free my soul.I write because through my writing the world can relate to what i feel.I write,because i love to write.my mentors,Gwendolyn Brooks.Martin Luther,Malcom x,Nikki Giovanni,Maya Angelou,Saul Williams,they all have influenced my poetry in one way or the other.
