Indiana University. Actually the first English professor I had said I should consider English as a major as I had a flair for writing. My last English professor said I showed glimmers of greatness. In between there was a lot of educating and supporting. My Father is responsible for the art part.

I don't think I need to mention the Caldecott or Newbery, do I? Okay, okay, the Caldecott and Newbery are really cool awards and I hope I win both some day. There, I mentioned them. Sheesh.

The Indiana Library Federation has produced a calendar for schools/libraries using Hoosier illustrators. Jim Davis of Garfield fame did April, 2003. I did March.
