I grew up in North Adams, Massachusetts and attended Syracuse University. I worked as a medical technician, paramedic and laboratory technician during those years, but I found myself attracted to writing and literature. One evening I went to a party where someone was reading Lawrence Ferlinghetti’s Coney Island of the Mind. It changed my life forever.
I began writing.

A SLIGHT CHANGE IN THE WEATHER
By David Plumb
THE GAME CHANGES-WITHOUT NOTICE
What happens when your ground beef is an alias? Maybe you make the mistake of wearing Goofy’s Head, or you find a crucified mouse, or a sheep gets loose and sets a whole valley to strange thoughts. Remember those war days passing through Panama, or the ex-boyfriend’s phone call about the pyramid? Maybe it’s about time you got married, but…
David Plumb answers these questions in his new book, A Slight Change in the Weather (164 pages paper, $12.00) a collection of short fiction.
