My first novel came from a desire to pass on to future generations of my family, the trials and ordeals suffered by my great-grandmother Anna, who was the last accused witch of Kleinheubach, Germany. Heartened by the reception my novel received, I will be traveling to Kleinheubach in the fall of 2011 to write a more encompassing book on the entire family, most of whom were executed for witchcraft.

I have just completed a soon to be published fictional novel called River Child. The story is of a young boy born on the banks of the Tocantins River in Brazil. After suffering the loss of his entire tribe, the child is found by an American seaman who takes him home to Salem, Massachusetts. What the seaman does not know is that the child's tribe was protected by an ancient spirit, much older than mankind. Being the only survivor of the tribe, the spirit protects him at all costs.

The Penarium
One of my favourite hobbies is wood turning. I do an array of pens, bowls and lidded boxes. I find relaxation while turning as my focus is directed to a pleasant task and away from the woes of the world.
