Mary has lived her entire life in Salt Lake City Valley, where she has raised a family of three children and three stepchildren. Now that the children have grown and the grandchildren have begun, she and her husband remodeled their home so Mary could have her own office. Mary has chosen to stay home and write full time. Mary is a member of the Romance Writers of America and several sister chapters. Mary and her husband love traveling they have visited the Caribbean, and parts of Europe to name a few of their favorites. This gives her valuable insight for her stories. With the experience from the exotic places she has traveled to, she fills her books with colorful descriptions of places she has visited, painting a colorful backdrop for her characters.
When Mary is not writing she is reading. She loves to read all kinds of books, non-fiction and fiction alike. A few of her favorite authors are; Nora Roberts, J. D. Robb, Debbie Macomber, Joanna Lindsey, Heather Graham, Shannon Drake, Sandra Brown, Brenda Novak, and we can't forget one of her first favorites, Stephen King.
Mary and her husband are avid college football fans. They have season tickets to the UTES, University of Utah Football and they tailgate every game. They love tailgating so much, that they were married at a tailgating in 1999. She loves to bring her famous Jell-o Shots to the game, and mingle with good friends and family.
Mary tries to help as much as possible with her chosen charities. She is an Event co-team captain for one of Salt Lake City area's American Cancer Society Relay for Life.
