My writing background - I've written many different newsletters, articles and poetry for many different organizations - S.K.U.N.K.S., Protect R Wildlife, National Endowment for Animal Rights, California Animal Rescue, Neighborhood Watch 4 Animals, The Orangutan Foundation, etc. I write regular newspaper articles on how to coexist with wildlife, give advice when dealing with nuisance wildlife, and how to properly care for pets. I've been majorly influenced by Birute Galdikas, President of The Orangutan Foundation, where I volunteered for many years, as well as helped with research studying the orangutan in Borneo. Volunteering at other animal rescue and animal rights organizations influenced my decision to dedicate my life to rescuing, educating about and writing about animals and how to make a better world for them and their caretakers.

I have taught seminars around the US (national conferences) on how to coexist with skunks and how to rehabilitate them back to the wild. I taught 3 different classes at the Animal Rights 2007 conference in Los Angeles - Relating to Urban Wildlife, Abusing Our Cousins, and History of Activist Suppression.

I've taken specialized courses on dealing with nuisance wildlife, as well as 15 years of counseling the public on positive solutions to solving wildlife problems.

A lot of animals in my community are being killed and injured by free-roaming dogs, so I started Neighborhood Watch 4 Animals to get people together to solve the problems. LATEST NEWS: "Animal Crackers Cookbook: Healthy Homemade Treats for Domestic, Farm and Exotic Pets" is almost finished. We are doing the final R&D taste testing and a photo contest, then the final touches on the book. (See my Scratch n Sniff Publishing web site for more details.) “Animal Crackers Cookbook: Healthy Homemade Treats for Domestic, Farm and Exotic Pets” is co-authored by Share Bond and Amanda Jones, copyright 2005, 80 pages, ISBN: 978-1-4243-2998-4. This book is a collection of easy-to-make wholesome nutritious recipes made by the animal-loving, talented, gourmet cooks that wrote it. Each recipe was created with love, hoping that they will bring the caretakers and their beloved companion animals closer together. The authors feel that every animal deserves a healthy diet, nutritious treats and an enriched life, as well as the love they will receive from their caretakers that take the time to cook special treats for them. From cats to wallabies with every kind of diet needs, the treats are interchangeable and it was discovered that most of the test animal species love most of the recipes, including humans (although they are more bland than normal human tastes). There are even recipes for your wild bird and mammal neighbors. The special treats offer your pets variety, and are great to use as training aids, for tartar control to keep the animals’ teeth clean, and wonderful enrichment for their mental health. Besides cleverly-named recipes, the book is full of special health information such as wholesome ingredient recommendations, enrichment ideas, sprouting for your pets, growing your own wheat grass, and handy tips. There are also vegan and vegetarian recipes, and conversion tips to make recipes with animal products to satisfy vegetarian tastes. Their critter family, as well as those of their friends, worked in the Research and Development process helping to perfect their recipes! They all received a thumbs, hooves, wings, and paws up!!
