Married to my wonderful and supportive husband, Ron for five blissful years. Together we have two Queens in training, Danielle and Breanna. The Anderson family happily resides in Wichita Kansas.
A graduate (1987) from South East High School. I chose to further my education by attending nursing school. My specialty or choice of service was to work with the elderly and disabled.
Not long into my field, I sustained an injury at work. The injury sidelined me from any active work. My mobility was very limited for a while. During my recovery period, my desire to venture back into writing, fell upon me. This is where the idea for my first book: “Effective Immediately" was born. So while writing my first born, so to say, I worked for the Kansas City Missouri School District, while furthering my education in business management.
I originally started writing poetry and short stories in 2000 and had several of my works posted on such websites as Rundu and Timbooktu. Writing for me is therapy. There is no doubt about it. I believe we all have a story to tell.
What inspires me to write? The thought of channeling my ideas (plots) and turning them into a colorful literary scene. Writing, whether it is fiction or non-fiction is an outlet for me . This outlet allows me to release and escape to places known or unknown.
Gail's first book; "Effective Immediately" is already picking up high hopes and her readers are responding!!!!!!! This exciting and drama filled novel drops in mid July.
At This time Gail is busy working on her marketing plan, as well as her book signing tour. This Diva is ready to get her walk, hussle, and straight sell on!
Some of my major influences include, Eric Jerome Dickey, Terry, McMillan, Walter Mosley, E. Lynn Harris, and Zane.
