The major influence behind the story is what may have happened at the time of my birth. Although the story is fiction and the names are fictious there may be some truth to the content. At the age of forty two I, quite by accident, found out that my parents who raised me were not my biological parents. With no one to fully confirm the facts and my parents deceased, my imagination came to many conclusions. I experienced a traumatic emotional experience trying to deal with may have happened and why my biological mother sold me. I had loving parents who were afraid to tell me the truth in fear of me not loving them. What my parents did not know is that I would never stop loving them. After many years of dealing with the situation I decided to bring some form of closure by writing, "Wartime and Beyond."
