Tara Taylor Quinn's love affair with Harlequin Books began when she was fourteen years old and picked up a free promotional copy of a Harlequin Romance in her hometown grocery store. The relationship was solidified the year she was suspended from her high school typing class for hiding a Harlequin Romance behind the keys of her electric typewriter.

Tara has always wanted to write, beginning in elementary school with short stories. After she read her first Harlequin, she knew who she wanted to write for. After working extensively with Harlequin, and sending numerous proposals, her first Superromance "Yesterday's Secrets" was bought, and the list has continued on from there!

With 32 sales in less than nine years, Ms. Quinn's books are worldwide, with many foreign translations. April 2001 marked the release of Ms. Quinn's first single title novel “Sheltered in His Arms”, and May saw her debut on the USA Today Best Seller List. She had eight more releases in 2002 and July of 2003 marked the debut of her first of three novels with MIRA books, titled Where The Road Ends. For The Children will be released with Superromance in December of 2003, with another Shelter Valley novel (Nothing Sacred) in 2004, as well as Street Smart, her next MIRA in July of 2004!
