A pastor's wife, mother of three girls, author, columnist, poet, fiction writer and speaker who loves dogs, cats and horses.

Background Information

Educated in Ontario Canada, ran away to Alaska and then Yukon, settled in Saskatchewan and finally Alberta Canada. I've been priveledged to live a short distance from the Arctic Circle as well as two degrees from the Equator. Major influences have been Jesus Christ and writers like C.S. Lewis, G.K. Chesterton, Walter Wangerin, John L.Moore.

Accomplishments

A regular columnist for several publications, Marcia has recently launched The Spur of The Moment, a book that will awaken your spirit and encourage your heart.
She is also an award-winning poet and fiction writer. See her work at www.vinemarc.ab.ca

Additional Information

My weekly column and my book are available by emailing me. The Spur is a free newsletter. The Spur of the Moment is now at a special pre-Christmas rate of 12.95 + 3.00 for shipping. I have a short piece in Stories for a Woman's Heart, published by Multnomah Publishers, and recently taped a short piece about an experience in Papua New Guinea, for Tapestry on CBC Radio. That piece and other tapes are available, including Journey to Each Other, a suite of 5 poems produced by CBC Canada; Writing Short Stories for Kids, taped at the God Uses Ink Conference June 2001. I am available to speak to women's groups or writers' groups and I welcome any comments on my work. Just email vinemarc@rttinc.com
