I retired from the fire service after 28 years at Covington Ky, Fire Dept.retired in 2005, at the rank of Captain.Most of my time was spent as a line officer and company officer.(that means I fought fires)

I was born and  raised in Ky. My childhood was spent on the south bank of the Ohio river,Bellevue Ky.

I truly believe, every day is a gift,and  there is always something new to experience or learn. I am also blessed with two childern,now adults.A daughter and a son,and recently a  grandson,and granddaughter.

My hope is that maybe something I write will connect with a few readers,if so  good,if not  oh well maybe next time.
