Leigh Johnstone (Leigh Timothy-Johnstone) is an Actor and Writer from Kent. He is currently studying Drama at The University of Winchester and works freelance for the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain. His first poem 'This Day' was chosen to be placed in a collection of young peoples work endorsed by the Poet Laureate Andrew Motion.

Background Information

Leigh Johnstone grew up in Kent and was brought up within a middle class family. His writing talent started early on with the publication of 'This Day' in a local council poetry book. In 2004 he took his more newer influences of drama and the arts and used the creativity to produce several poems based on all sorts of issues, from world politics to love and betrayal. He is currently studying Drama at The University of Winchester and continues to write, based on new life experiences.
