After adapting her first book into a screenplay, Ms. Willett has begun working on other projects: writing/revising the second book in the Amber Shadows series, Amber Shadows and the Crystal Locket; painting a portrait of the three main characters she sketched in the Amber Shadows series, and doing script submissions. She also has three two scripts in the works, Memoirs of Magia, and a romance/drama untitled, and a play, Murder at Tea Time.  For those wondering if she is available for work, Ms. Willett is still considering offers for novel and or play adaptation work so feel free to send her an inquiry via email MWillett@Ameritech.net.  Her fee is competitive and her work stands on its own as very thorough and well written. 

I have recently shifted gears by taking on screenplay editing and screenwriting. Just recently, I finished editing Tatalia, a rated "R" movie.  This shift may shock people, seeing as I am a writer for mid-grade to young adults+.  However, as a writer I must stay flexible. Those who have read my work will see my writing and editing abilities are proven through my Amber Shadows book series, and again in the screenplay Tatalia, which actor/producer Rick Borgia co-wrote with Vinny Cuevas, the original writer. Rick and I spent several days and long hours editing/shaping/polishing the script together on long distance phone calls and through email correspondence.  I had met Rick B. through Myspace and he asked me to give it a read. I found the project interesting and the rest is history. Tatalia is scheduled for production through Dream X-Treme Productions April 2010.  I will be listed as Tatalia's Screenplay Editor in the closing credits.  I plan on continuing script editing for movies and writing scripts in between writing each book in my book series.

For those interested in Tatalia, it is an action based movie, rated "R" due to violence and language. This is NOT an X-rated movie, as I have my morals to uphold and refuse to work with any script in the X-rated genre. The script is indeed intense and full of action, betrayal, murder, and romance. Those who see this movie will walk away flabergasted by it's intensity and unexpected ending.  

I am now back to revising my second book in the series, Amber Shadows and the Crystal Locket, working on the adaption for Magia memoirs and writing the bare bones for the second film I'm going to write. I've also been working on and off on a comedy play I hope to submit in the near future called, Murder at Tea Time.
